We don’t have a one-size-fits-all “pathway” to getting involved at RiverTree.
We view every person as having unique interests and gifts.
So it is our desire to offer a variety of connection points
for you to choose after you have had enough time to hang out
and observe.  Feel free to give each of these entry points a try.

---Sunday Gatherings

Sunday mornings is when the whole RiverTree family gathers together for a sort of “family reunion” at which we hang out, sing a few worship songs, hear an understandable and applicable teaching about God, faith, Jesus and culture, pray and generally expect great things of God. The service is about 75 minutes long because we are unhurried in what we do and don’t want to rush in and out like so much of the rest of our lives.  Everyone is treated like family here.

Who comes. You’ll find people from different faith backgrounds, from Catholic and Protestant to no faith background at all. We are a multi-generational church family, so whatever your age or stage, you’ll likely find folks who understand you. People who love church, people who are wary of church, people who have have church baggage, people who had given up on church, and people who have no experience in church, can all find space to learn and grow together here.

What to wear. You’ll see a church family made up of people who don’t look exactly alike, think exactly alike, or dress exactly alike. So, whatever dress allows you to enter into worship, teaching, and to grow in your faith works for us. Please consider yourself welcome to come as you are…from dresses and ties to T-shirts and shorts.

Pre-Service. Before the service, you will be greeted by warm, non-threatening folks (maybe even a few kids, too!) who love this church and want you to feel welcome just as you are. When you enter the school, you can stop by the goodies table for coffee and some breakfast foods, and the connection table to see what we’re about. If you have children in 5th grade and younger, the children’s table helpers will answer questions and help you connect with children’s ministry.

Post-Service. Feel free to hang out after the service to get to know people and build friendships. We hope you leave the service having started a friendship or two.
