This Advent we are examining the idea of redemption in a series called “The Redemption of Scrooge.” Today we see just how important Nephew Fred is in Scrooge’s transformation. We also explore how God can transform fear into hope. We will use Matthew 2:13-15 as an example of this of this transformation.

This week, we continue our examination of the Redemption of Scrooge. Scrooge’s time with the Ghost of Christmas Past is memorable. But what does it mean? We talk about the idea that our past does not define us. In the eyes of God, our past can be wiped clean. We read John 4 to help in this discussion.
